Like many of you, i've searched the internet far and wide to find an easier way to make money other than our normal 9-5 job (which leaves most of us with little satisfaction!). Also like many of you, i've purchased Get Rich Quick programs online that promised us the world but were disappointing in the long run.

I'm here to tell you that our staff has discovered that over 90% of these so-called Get Rich Quick programs are A COMPLETE WASTE OF YOUR MONEY!!! Sure, they all sound enticing with "real testimonials", bank statements suposedly showing the success of the program, and finally the WILD GUARANTEES that you can make thousands a day by only working 5 minutes. I'm sure you have fallen victim to one of these types of programs before, I know I have! In reality, the only person who is going to make money off of one of these programs is the creator....because he roped us in to buying his useless ebook!

So after many, many ebook purchases and just as many disappointments, I told myself that enough is enough!! I was going to get to the bottom of the Get Rich Quick phenomena to see if there were any programs out there that were not a complete load of crap. To get our hands on some of these ebooks, we posed as website reviewers for a new online awards program. We emailed the ebook creators and said that we have heard alot about your site and we'd like to review it and possibly give you our award seal to add to your site. I knew that if anyone was going to fall for that lame scheme, it would be the sites that were thrown together overnight to try and make money selling garbage. To our surprise, we were able to get alot of ebooks using this method, but there were still some sites that ignored our attempts or gave us nasty replies!! In the end we broke down and purchased some in hopes of finding a diamond in the rough.

Title: Information Assets

Robert Kiyoski (author of the Rich Dad Poor Dad series) explains what differentiates rich and poor people. He explains that rich people accumulate assets. His definition of an asset is something that produces income.

Information products are virtually free to create. By Sitting in front of your computer transferring your knowledge and ideas to words in a word processing program you can produce an information product. This can be done in a matter of days or hours. Traditional products can take months or years to create. Once you know the process of creating an information product it can be done again and again. Once the information product be it an ebook, an audio product or video is uploaded to a hosting account it becomes an asset that you own.

An asset is something that produces income. The information product can be purchased in unlimited numbers from the website it is stored on. The product can be purchased 24 hours a day 365 days a year. You can make money even while you sleep! Other businesses must produce additional stock once products are sold. Your website with information product loaded has infinite inventory because the product can be continually downloaded. It is an asset that can continually produce income with much lower costs compared to traditional businesses.

Once the first product is produced additional content in the form of new ebooks, courses or other information products will see increased sales. It is a general principle that increased content equals increased sales. Sometimes adding new content will not increase sales or even reduce sales. Because the product is online this can be quickly modified and changed. Adding new content can be as can as simple as modifying a sales page or adding content to existing product. By adding content you are increasing the amount of assets you control.

We are in the information age. Internet marketing is the most exciting opportunity in the history of entrepreneurship. Information can be developed into a tremendous asset producing income for you. As you add content by creating new products or additional content on existing products you increase the size of your assets. The opportunity is enormous. Action + Passion are the keys to success!

Acid Reflux Disease Symptoms: Knowing your Body

Acid reflux disease is a condition in which the stomach acids abnormally reflux into the esophagus. This phenomenon is irregularly experienced by most people, most especially after eating.

Our body uses gastric and stomach acids to break down the food that we eat. Normally, after the digestion in the stomach, the food is delivered by the digestive muscles to the intestines for extra digestion. But in patients who have acid reflux disease, the acidic stomach contents are moved back to the esophagus, which then causes inflammation. Cigarettes, alcohol, caffeine, pregnancy, and fatty foods are some factors which worsens acid reflux conditions.

Our present knowledge about acid reflux based on medical researches tells us that this disease is common in men as it is in women. There is no sexual preference. Moreover, the prevalence of acid reflux is more frequent in people of 40 years of age or more.

Symptoms of acid reflux may be typical or atypical. But based on the diagnosis of acid reflux patients, only 70% of those who have this disease manifest typical symptoms.

Typical or esophageal symptoms concern indicators which are related with the esophagus. Such symptoms include the following:

Heartburn. This is a condition in which the patient feels a painful burning feeling in the esophagus. The pain often develops in the chest and may swell to the neck or throat. This is most probable to occur in relation with these activities: after a heavy meal, lifting, bending over, and lying down. Based on one study, about 75% of acid reflux patients experience this symptom at night. These nigh-time patients also tend to experience more harsh pain than those whose symptom occurs at other times.

Dyspepsia. Researches show that about half of acid reflux patients have dyspepsia. This is a syndrome which consists of pain and distress in the upper abdomen, nausea after a meal, and stomach fullness. It is not a rule however, that those who have dyspepsia have acid reflux.

Regurgitation. This is when the gastric contents back up into the pharynx and sometimes as far as the mouth. In cases where the acids have spilled into the tracheobronchial tree, respiratory complications can be stimulated.

There are many instances, though, that acid reflux patients do not manifest symptoms such as regurgitation and heartburn. Instead, they experience atypical or extraesophageal symptoms which include the following:

Throat Symptoms. Although it does not commonly happen, acid reflux patients suffer from symptoms that occur in the throat. Hoarseness, the feeling of having a lump in the throat, dry cough are undergone by those who have acid laryngitis, a throat symptom. Patients can also have difficulty in swallowing, a condition known as dysphagia. In critical cases, the food may get trapped in the throat or even choke, which can result to a severe chest pain. Other throat symptoms are chronic sore throat and persistent hiccups.

Vomiting and Nausea. When a patient suffers from nausea which persists for weeks, he may have acid reflux. There are few instances where vomiting can occur as often as once a day.

Respiratory Symptoms. Coughing and wheezing are counted as respiratory symptoms. These result from the overrunning of the stomach acids into the tracheobronchial tree creating bronchoconstriction.

Acid reflux disease can last for several months if not given proper medical attention. Drug treatment may only be required for a short time. But when the symptoms tend to repetitively occur, the drug treatment may have to be reapplied.

The hardest part of writing is the first sentence.

When you look at the whole project, it seems like an

impossible task. That's why you have to break it down

into manageable tasks. Think of climbing a mountain.

You are standing at the foot of it and looking up at

its summit vanishing into the clouds. How can you

possibly scale such an immense and dangerous mountain?

There is only one way to climb a mountain ? step by

Now think of writing your ebook in the same light. You

must create it step by step, and one day, you will

take that last step and find yourself standing on the

summit with your head in the clouds.

The first thing you have to do, as if you actually

were a mountain climber, is to get organized. Instead

of climbing gear, however, you must organize your

thoughts. There are some steps you should take before

you begin. Once you've gone through the following

list, you will be ready to actually begin writing your

Beginning Steps to Writing an ebook

First, figure out your ebook's working title. Jot down

a few different titles, and eventually, you'll find

that one that will grow on you. Titles help you to

focus your writing on your topic; they guide you in

anticipating and answering your reader's queries. Many

non-fiction books also have subtitles. Aim for clarity

in your titles, but cleverness always helps to sell

books ? as long as it's not too cute. For example,

Remedies for Insomnia: twenty different ways to count

sheep. Or: Get off that couch: fifteen exercise plans

to whip you into shape.

Next, write out a thesis statement. Your thesis is a

sentence or two stating exactly what problem you are

addressing and how your book will solve that problem.

All chapters spring forth from your thesis statement.

Once you've got your thesis statement fine-tuned,

you've built your foundation. From that foundation,

your book will grow, chapter by chapter.

Your thesis will keep you focused while you write your

ebook. Remember: all chapters must support your thesis

statement. If they don't, they don't belong in your

book. For example, your thesis statement could read:

We've all experienced insomnia at times in our lives,

but there are twenty proven techniques and methods to

give you back a good night's sleep.

Once you have your thesis, before you start to write,

make sure there is a good reason to write your book.

Ask yourself some questions:

* Does your book present useful information and is

that information currently relevant?

* Will you book positively affect the lives of your

* Is your book dynamic and will it keep the reader's

* Does you book answer questions that are meaningful

and significant?

If you can answer yes to these questions, you can feel

confident about the potential of your ebook.

Another important step is to figure out who your

target audience is. It is this group of people you

will be writing to, and this group will dictate many

elements of your book, such as style, tone, diction,

and even length. Figure out the age range of your

readers, their general gender, what they are most

interested in, and even the socio-economic group they

primarily come from. Are they people who read fashion

magazines or book reviews? Do they write letters in

longhand or spend hours every day online. The more you

can pin down your target audience, the easier it will

be to write your book for them.

Next, make a list of the reasons you are writing your

ebook. Do you want to promote your business? Do you

want to bring quality traffic to your website? Do you

want to enhance your reputation?

Then write down your goals in terms of publishing. Do

you want to sell it as a product on your website, or

do you want to offer it as a free gift for filling out

a survey or for ordering a product? Do you want to use

the chapters to create an e-course, or use your ebook

to attract affiliates around the world? The more you

know upfront, the easier the actual writing will be.

Decide on the format of your chapters. In non-fiction,

keep the format from chapter to chapter fairly

consistent. Perhaps you plan to use an introduction to

your chapter topic, and then divide it into four

subhead topics. Or you may plan to divide it into five

parts, each one beginning with a relevant anecdote.

How to make your ebook "user friendly"

You must figure out how to keep your writing engaging.

Often anecdotes, testimonials, little stories, photos,

graphs, advice, and tips will keep the reader turning

the pages. Sidebars are useful for quick, accessible

information, and they break up the density of the

Write with a casual, conversational tone rather than a

formal tone such as textbook diction. Reader's respond

to the feeling that you are having a conversation with

them. Break up the length and structure of your

sentences so you don?t hypnotize your readers into

sleep. Sentences that are all the same length and

structure tend to be a good aid for insomnia!

Good writing takes practice. It takes lots and lots of

practice. Make a schedule to write at least a page a

day. Read books and magazines about the process of

writing, and jot down tips that jump out at you. The

art of writing is a lifetime process; the more you

write (and read), the better your writing will become.

The better your writing becomes, the bigger your sales

In an ebook that is read on the screen, be aware that

you must give your reader's eye a break. You can do

this by utilizing white space. In art classes, white

space is usually referred to as "negative space."

Reader's eyes need to rest in the cool white oasises

you create on your page. If your page is too dense,

your reader will quit out of it as soon as their eyes

begin to tear.

Make use of lists, both bulleted and numbered. This

makes your information easy to absorb, and gives the

reader a mental break from dissecting your paragraphs

one after the other.

Finally, decide on an easy-to-read design. Find a font

that's easy on the eyes, and stick to that font

family. Using dozens of fonts will only tire your

readers out before they've gotten past your

introduction. Use at least one and a half line

spacing, and text large enough to be read easily on

the screen, but small enough so that the whole page

can be seen on a computer screen. You will have to

experiment with this to find the right combination.

Of course, don't forget to run a spell and grammar

check. You are judged by something as minor as correct

punctuation, so don?t mess up a great book by tossing

out semicolons randomly, or stringing sentences

together with commas. (By the way, that's called a

"comma splice.")

Last of all, create an index and a bibliography.

That's it! You've written a book! Now all you have to

do is publish your ebook online, and wait for download

request from your website visitors.

Here are two of the most common questions from Newbies. One is technical the other is Marketing related.

How do I make my hyperlink open in a new window and why do I want that to happen?

HERE”S HOW in response to a question I received recently about creating a ‘Download page’
It answers the above questions and gives some other valuable tips.

TIP #1
Hi, I clicked on your XXXXX link and found that it worked fine. However, it loaded the XXXXX page in the same window as yours, so I was taken away from your download page, very inconvenient for someone trying to download.

To fix it do this: Add “target="_blank"” into the code after the URL. Make sure you save your original page first and work on a copy, then when your copy is done upload it and test it, then save it as the original on your desk top, then upload the new original to your server. Done!

(In this example I use [ ] instead of V brackets, to make this publishable.)

[a href="“target="blank"]Click here[/a]

Tip #2

Here’s a friendly way make prospects SAVE YOUR EBOOK full of your links on their computer.
If you don't do this they might just look at the ebook in their browser and then close it. You will have lost them maybe for ever, but if you made them save it onto their hard drive; you will always get another chance, even if they remove themselves from your mailing list. The links are still in the E book on their computer, and who knows when they might open it again and go click!

HERE’S HOW: Just use this as a guide.

Step Two: "NAME OF THE EBOOK" ‘Right Click Here’ and select 'Save Target as' or 'Save Link as' (Mozilla) option from the pop-up window to download the eBook. Then Save the eBook to a location on your hard drive where you can easily find it. Make a note of the location that you've saved it to so you can easily access it again in the future.

NOTE: Add the "target="_blank"" code to the "right click here" link, so that if they just left click and load to their browser at least your download page (with a link back to home) is still on their desk top!

Adding "target="_blank"" to all links on a home page will keep the home page on the prospects desk top for as long as possible this will increase the chances of a sign up!

WARNING!!! DON’T use the code to open a new window on links back to your home page this will just annoy people.
Below, is a complete template for a typical download page. I have used ‘’ to indicate the hyperlinks. You should use “target="_blank"” on all links except the one that takes them home.

Step One: You will need XXsoftwareXX to read the E-book. If you do not have it installed on your computer, Please ‘CLICK HERE’ to get the software.

Step Two: "NAME OF THE EBOOK" ‘Right Click Here’ and select 'Save Target as' or 'Save Link as' (Mozilla) option from the pop-up window to download the eBook.

Step Three: Save the eBook to a location on your hard drive where you can find it easily. Make a note of the location where you saved it, so that you can easily access it again in the future.

How acid reflux disease could be diagnosed and treated among infants

Do you find a hard time feeding your infant because of persistent spitting and vomiting? Don’t just take it for granted. It could be a gastro esophageal reflux and it needs proper attention before it severely affects the health of your baby. Worse, acid reflux disease can lead to malnutrition and poor growth.

Infant acid reflux is an uncomfortable sensation for the baby since the acids that reflux to the esophagus irritates the baby’s throat. Commonly, acid reflux disease occurs when abdominal pressure increases while the baby is very full. Coughing and crying right after the baby had been fed can result to that pressure in the upper stomach which pushes the stomach acid to the throat.

The noticeable symptoms on the baby suffering from acid reflux are the adverse loss of weight, continual vomiting, recurrent choking episodes, too much drooling, problems in swallowing, hoarseness, food aversion and chronic ear infection.

While there are noticeable symptoms of acid reflux, some infants may not show signs such as throwing up. It’s because their tendency is to swallow up the acids instead. Although the child is not pestered by the reflux, this could still result to irritation and damage to the esophagus. One way of detecting silent acid reflux on infants is through the pH probe.

To diagnose acid reflux on infants, certain tests could be made. One of which is the barium test where the infant has to swallow a little amount of barium. Then the doctor could detect the passage of food outlined by the chemical. However, it will only work in the moment that the child is undergoing acid reflux while being tested. In place of barium, a radioactive solution could also be made to swallow before an x-ray. Through this, the frequency of the acid reflux could be tested. An endoscope views the infant’s mouth, esophagus and the tract of food in the stomach.

The effective cure for infant acid reflux is a thickened formula. This could be done by adding cereal into the baby’s food. And when feeding the infant, keep him in an upright position and not lying on his back. The same case is true when changing the diaper, especially after feeding when you know that the infant is still full. It would be best if the infant can burp frequently to reduce the acid reflux. Small amount of meals should be given at short time intervals.

Breastfeeding will also serve as a great help to decrease the vomiting and the symptoms of acid reflux in infants. The nutrients in a mother’s breast milk have been proven to supplement the needs of the infants. Plus, the natural formulation of breast milk avoids the side effects such as constipation in chemically prepared medications. However, the pediatrician can prescribe other medications to give relief to the infant in times of discomfort. The parents must take note of the critical administration of the drug. In case that the particular formula prescribed does not work or results to graver side effects, it is advised to shift to a new one.

Once infant acid reflux is detected, precautionary measures should immediately follow. Since the infant cannot yet speak of the discomfort he is suffering, parents should be patient enough to attend to their needs.

Should EBooks be Part of Your Internet Marketing Strategy

Word Count:

Ebooks seem to have become a stable on the Internet. They're given away, they're sold and they're used as promotion material. Isn't time you considered whether ebooks should be part of your marketing strategy?

ebooks, e-books, internet marketing, small business, niche ebooks

Article Body:

Ebooks have become and inseparable part of the new frontier of cyberspace. They are a great medium for sharing marketing information, ideas, techniques, and expert knowledge. Each day the number of people accessing the Internet grows, causing the exposure of your ebooks to increase incrementally. It's obvious why electronic self-publishing has become so popular so quickly.

Ebooks can assist small business website owners market their sites and in some cases even become a source of revenue. Having said that, let's look at what makes ebooks so important and so unique.

"Ebooks have unique characteristics that printed books can't match. For example, ebooks are relatively easy to produce and they can be inexpensive to produce. Just think about it: you don't need a publisher, an agent, a printing press, offset film, ink, paper, or even a distributor. You just need a great concept, the ability to write it or to hire a writer, and the right software.

"Ebooks can be easily updated. As information changes, ebooks can be updated without a second print run. All you need is to go into your original creation and modify the text or graphics. Because of this flexibility, ebooks can change and grow as fast as you can type.

"Ebooks are convenient. You don't have to go to a bookstore or search through endless titles at an online bookstore. All you have to do is download it from a website, and presto! It's on your computer, ready to be read.

"Ebooks are interactive. This is one of the most unique and specific qualities that ebooks offer. You can add surveys that need to be filled out, order forms for customers to purchase your products or goods, sound and video that draw your reader into the virtual world of your ebook, even direct links to relevant sites that will expand your ebook outward. The potential is virtually limitless.

"Ebooks have a particular kind of permanence that other mediums do not possess. Television shows and radio shows air once, and then may rerun a few times. Ebooks remain on your computer for as long as your choose, and they can be read and reread whenever you choose to. They can even be printed out and stored on the shelves of your traditional home library.

"Ebooks have very low entrance barriers. You don't need to go through the endless process of submitting your manuscript over and over again, and then once you land an agent, having the agent submit your manuscript over and over again. Nor do you have to shell out thousands of dollars for printing a self-published book. All ebooks require is a writer and appropriate software.

"Ebooks are great for Niche content. Ever wanted to find a book on a highly specific or niche product? Looking for tips on mouse killing? Good luck finding that in print. The costs are prohibitive and bookstores can't afford the shelf space. But with an ebook, no shelf space is needed so even the most niche content can find a place on the Internet.

"You have creative control over your ebook. You don't have to compromise with an editor or the publishing trends of the time. You don't have to haggle with a designer or wait for copyedited galleys to arrive by snail mail. You are in complete control of the design and the text.

If you're not convinced that ebooks are something you should consider click over to Google and search for ebooks. At last count there were over 70 million search results. Something with that kind of Internet presence is not something you want to miss.
